Here we will cover almost all of the Tech Console including how to start a remote session, where you can find a variety of features and functions and what different types of unattended access options we have available. We have over 1000+ support specialist in the field who carry a MAC in order to help our customers resolve MAC application issues ( Photoshop, Illustrator, etc). WE do use the Tech Console on a Windows machine and while WE can remote into a MAC, those 1,000+ specialist CANNOT use Rescue because they cannot run the Tech Console on their MAC.

This article gives guidance to Rescue technicians.
The first time a technician logs on at the LogMeIn Rescue website from a particular PC, a small software client is offered for download and installation.
A Technician Console client MSI installer is also available in case the automatic download and install does not succeed.
Restriction: On a Mac, the Technician Console cannot be run in a browser.
Technicians can also run the Technician Console as a desktop application. See Technician Console Desktop App for Windows and Mac.

Technician Console as a desktop application is available for technicians both on Windows and Mac computers.
The desktop app offers the same set of features as the browser-based version. The only difference is that it runs as a standalone executable, which means it can be launched with a single click – no browser required.

Launch the application via the Windows Start button, a desktop shortcut, or any other preferred method. You may be prompted to log in to your Rescue account. Use the same email and password combination you use to log in at the LogMeIn Rescue website.
Tip: Rescue technicians with a Single Sign-On (SSO) ID can also start the Rescue Desktop Technician Console using any supported SSO authentication method.
